The layers of history...

Two posts in one day, waow. Only to show you something really lovely though, the wallpaper layers of yester-year. Sometimes it's the different colours of paint that make for interesting visuals, but this time, it's the old patterned wall-paper that's left its trace...who knows how?! Maybe it's the sun or just the old paste, I like it anyhow, and I like the name and date too.
Paint & Wall Paper stripping is a sticky business!

We suspect 1991 was the last papering that went on, and it had been painted over for years since.
Well done Ashwood!

The lovely patterns that appear when we wet the plaster!

How could I not start drawing with the big paper brush?!
