Update on the State...

Here is a non-agent view of the state of our new home to be...there's plenty of work to be done, as the close up pictures show. The house was built in 1928, so it's no surprise that it needs some love. We'll nurse it well, starting with the roof, which has to be completely replaced, also the kitchen due to damp and the bathroom too...in at the deep end?
I'm curious to know if the old dark green tiles that are hiding below the not-as-nice black/whites are all still intact, they're just seen at the edge of this 'kitchen cupboard!'
We will be living in grandmas house until the building work is done, dust is bad for the lungs...

the old boiler in a shed outside...to be torn out.

the best part about this bathroom is the Virginia Creeper poking its beautiful leaves round the edges of the window...all change here.

and the kitchen has to go too...because we've found that the walls need injected with damp proofing, the kitchen will be nothing short of a clean slate, and that's a good point.
